How to capture a quality headshot

A high quality, professional headshot in your provider profile is one of the best ways to attract clients to book with you. You can use a professional photographer or take your own, just make sure to follow these tips to put your best foot forward with potential clients.

What is a quality headshot?

Your headshot is an opportunity to communicate warmth and professionalism. To establish trust with potential clients, opt for good lighting, high resolution, warm expression, and professional dress.

High resolution and in-focus

Your photo should be clear and crisp. Avoid images that are grainy or out of focus.

Well-lit with a neutral background

Use soft lighting to avoid harsh shadows and ensure you have a simple, neutral background.

Pose is warm and relaxed

A warm expression and relaxed posture in your headshot helps clients connect with you.

Dress is professional and simple

Wear an outfit you would wear for a client session and avoid distracting sunglasses or hats.

How do I take a high quality headshot?
