We’re here to help you attract clients to your practice so that you can build and maintain your ideal caseload. Here are five key tips that other providers in our network have found particularly useful.
1. Make sure your practice is set up to accept new clients
Check that your practice preferences, including your desired caseload and weekly new client limit, are up to date. This ensures we send the appropriate number of client referrals your way. Also, make sure your profile is not set to "paused."
What to do: Review and update your preferences in your provider portal or follow our guide on how to manage your practice settings.
2. Add more new client availability to your schedule
Opening up more availability on your schedule for new clients increases your chances of new clients finding your profile and booking with you. Clients often look for times that work for their schedule. The more available time slots you offer, the more likely it is that clients will find and book a time with you.
What to do: To add new client availability, visit the Schedule tab in your provider portal or follow the step-by-step guide on how to add availability.
3. Polish and update your provider profile
A professional and polished profile is crucial for attracting the right clients to your practice. Clients look at profiles to find a provider who best meets their needs. A polished, up to date profile can help them feel confident in booking with you. To learn more, explore how to craft and maintain a great provider profile.

4. Opt-in to Psychology Today, ZocDoc, and other directories to increase your visibility
We can help you attract clients by managing and marketing your profile on platforms like Psychology Today and ZocDoc. You can maintain both your personal profile and one managed by Rula on these platforms.
What to do: You set up marketing preferences during onboarding. If you want to update these settings or begin sharing your profile on these channels, email us at profiles@rula.com.
5. Keep your schedule up-to-date
Maintaining an up-to-date schedule helps ensure clients get the timely care they need, reducing the chances of any last-minute cancellations.
What to do: Sync your calendar in your provider portal so that you can see Rula appointments on your personal calendar and avoid missing or canceling client appointments.
