This article provides an overview of the measurement-informed care (MIC) continuing education course offered by Triad, the parent company to AATBS, and courtesy of Rula. In this article you'll find a description of the course, guidance on how to access the course and troubleshoot any access issues, as well as what to do if you’d like to learn more.
What is the Triad measurement-informed care training course?
Rula has partnered with Triad, the parent company of AATBS, to offer therapists a free MIC continuing education course. AATBS is an accredited education provider that has the ability to offer courses for continuing education (CE) credits.
This offer is an optional one-hour training course designed to educate providers on the value of MIC and how to use it to support treatment with your clients. It provides one (1) CE credit hour. To receive credit for the course, simply enter your license number into the AATBS platform.
Why is this course being offered?
Our Clinical Quality team has been working closely with a group of providers in the Rula network to collect feedback on the use of MIC. One consistent piece of feedback we heard was while many providers have had past experiences with the PHQ-9, GAD-7, or other measures, the majority of providers have never had access to comprehensive learning/education coursework on the clinical basis for MIC, or how to get the most out of it.
To address this, we partnered with AATBS/Triad to develop this MIC foundations course, which we’re excited to make available free of charge to every provider in the Rula network.
If you would like to learn more about why this course is being offered or are curious about anything else related to it, please email our Clinical Quality team at quality@rula.com.
