This article covers how to use Dreamwave, our new AI-based headshot tool. Please note that at this time we are still piloting the use of Dreamwave. As such, this tool is only available to a small group of test providers. We will reach out with more information once we are ready to expand this offering!
How It Works
We’re excited for you to try Dreamwave, our new AI-based headshot tool! Follow the steps
below to create your professional-quality headshot and help us learn more about how this
technology can best support our provider community.
Step 1. Use your invite link
Click here to access the headshot tool and get started
Step 2. Upload your photos
Upload a few clear photos of yourself—the tool will guide you with best practices. Choose
images where your face is well-lit and visible for the best results.
Step 3. Wait for your headshots to be ready
You’ll receive an email once your headshots are complete, usually within a few hours. You’ll be
able to view your generated headshots in an online gallery.
Step 4. Choose your favorites
Within 48 hours, select at least five favorites by clicking the heart icon. Rula’s profile team will
upload the best one to your profile. If needed, we may choose a photo from your full gallery to
ensure your profile is optimized for client referrals.
Step 5. Let us know if you’d like to redo or opt out
If you’d like to redo your headshots or prefer to not use them on your Rula profile, don’t
download any photos and email us within 48 hours at headshot-pilot-support@rula.com.
Step 6. Share your feedback
Once you’re done, share any thoughts on your experience and/or the photos by emailing
headshot-pilot-support@rula.com. Your feedback helps us decide whether to expand this tool to
more providers.
