Medicaid Enrollment and Eligibility Guide - Minnesota

This guide is intended to assist therapists in completing requirements to be able to see patients covered by Medicaid in the state of Minnesota. Please follow the steps below:

  1. Complete Rula's Fraud, Waste & Abuse course.
    1. For therapy providers: Complete the training within the provider portal. Here’s how.
    2. For psychiatric providers: Access this course through Workramp. Here’s how.
  2. [Already enrolled in Minnesota Medicaid] If you’re interested in seeing Minnesota Medicaid patients through Rula and believe you’re already enrolled, submit this interest form
  3. If you’re not already enrolled in the Minnesota Medicaid program, please first:
    1. Enroll in Minnesota's state Medicaid program (Minnesota Health Care Programs, or “MHCP”) through the Minnesota Provider Screening and Enrollment (“MPSE”) portal (instructions)
    2. Share Application ID with Rula (form to submit here)
