This guide is intended to assist therapists in completing requirements to be able to see patients covered by Medicaid in the state of Hawaii. Please follow the steps below:

Complete Rula's Fraud, Waste & Abuse course.
- For therapy providers: Complete the training within the provider portal. Here’s how.
- For psychiatric providers: Access this course through Workramp. Here’s how.

Enroll in Hawaii’s state Medicaid program via the HOKU portal (Note: if you are already enrolled in HI Medicaid, you can skip to step 3)
- Submit a new application (instructions)
- Share Application ID with Rula (its a 14 digit number) (form to submit here)
- Add MHSG (Rula) as an authorized biller (instructions)
