The purpose of this article is to address frequently asked questions about seeing clients covered by Kaiser Hawaii Medicare or Medicaid plans, and the incentive Rula is offering providers to become eligible to see these clients.
Cancellations and no-shows
There will be no change to the current no-show or cancellation process. You will continue to receive compensation for cancellations initiated by either the client or Rula.
No-show fees
Your client will not be charged a no-show fee.
Our priority is to ensure that these patients get access to timely care, so some parts of their experience here may still include this messaging. Rest assured, they will not be charged and can ignore that messaging.
Your Rula experience
If you decide to see clients covered by Kaiser HI Medicare or Medicaid, nothing else will change about your Rula experience and how you conduct your day-to-day tasks.
No longer wanting to see Medicare/Medicaid clients with Rula
If you would no longer like to see Medicare or Medicaid clients through Rula, please reach out to support@rula.com and let us know and we will mark it in our internal systems.
Incentive Payment
You will receive your incentive amount in your next bi-weekly paycheck once Rula confirms you have completed the eligibility requirements. Your paycheck will show a description of “Medicaid/Medicare Bonus”.
The earliest we will pay the incentive is the January 17th, 2025 pay dates.
