All clients receive their measurement-informed care (MIC) survey bundle 48 hours before their session. Here’s how you can check if a client has completed the survey — and how to send a reminder if they haven’t.
Check the client's measurement-informed care survey status
In the provider portal, go to the Schedule tab → click the session appointment → below the appointment time, you’ll see if the client has completed their survey.
| Note: This feature is available as soon as the survey is made available to your client 48 hours before the appointment. |
Send a reminder if survey is incomplete
To send a reminder message to your client:
1. Navigate to Schedule → select appointment → click Send client measures reminder.
2. Or, go to Clients → select client → Next appointment section → click Send client measures reminder.
Clicking on the Send client measures reminder link will create a pre-filled message for that client on the Messages tab of the provider portal. You can then send this message.
| Note: The "Send client measures reminder" link is only available if the survey has not yet been completed by the patient. |
Optional: Clients can complete the survey in the waiting room
If the survey is still incomplete, the client will see it in the waiting-room screen prior to their telehealth session.
- It appears only if the client hasn't yet completed it.
- To join a session early, completing the survey will be required. Once the session time begins, a client can join the session, regardless of whether their survey is completed or not.
Encourage clients to join a few minutes early if they want to finish it before the session begins.
