Merging calls on your phone

How to merge calls on your phone when you need assistance on how to complete this process for their group/couples sessions

iPhone

  1. Dial the first person and wait for the call to connect.
  2. Tap add call unnamed__1_.png
  3. Dial the second person, and wait for the call to connect. 
  4. Tap merge calls unnamed.png
  5. The two calls merge into a conference call. To add additional people, repeat steps 2-4. If you don’t see the option to add another call, you might have reached the limit of participants for your carrier.

Android

  1. Dial the first person.
  2. After the call connects, touch the Add Call button, this will put the first person on hold. This button may look a little different on some Android devices, but most of the time will include a label and a plus sign.

  3. Dial the second person.
  4. Touch the Merge or Merge Calls icon. This button may look a little different on some Android devices, but most of the time will include a label and two lines forming a single arrow.

  5. The two calls will merge into a conference call. To add additional people, repeat steps 2-4.
