Video Overview

Note: We're now Rula! You may still hear Path in our videos from time to time and we appreciate your patience while we continue to update our content to align with our new name.

This video covers how Rula matching works and provides a brief overview of the client's journey from initially seeking therapy to being expertly matched to a therapist such as yourself.

The matching process

  1. Initial Client Submission: Prospective clients begin by filling out a form that captures essential information like birth date, location, insurance carrier, and the type of therapy sought.
  2. Therapist Profiles and Client Preferences: After submitting their personal details, clients receive a list of therapist profiles matching their initial criteria. They can refine this list further by specifying preferences such as appointment times, specialty, ethnicity, gender, or affiliation.
  3. Therapist Profile Visibility and Specializations: Your profile is shown to clients based on the specializations and client populations you indicate. It's also visible to those who are uncertain about their specialization needs.
  4. Client Selection and Appointment Confirmation: Clients review and choose from their matched therapist profiles and schedule their first appointment. Before the appointment is confirmed, clients must verify their insurance, enter payment information, and complete consent forms.

Rula’s Unique Matching Approach

The system focuses on finding the exact match based on mutual preferences and availability, making it crucial for you to keep your profile updated with accurate preferences, expertise, and availability.

New Client Bookings

When Rula notifies you of a new client booking, these are confirmed scheduled appointments, not referrals. Note that patients can book appointments 25 hours before the start of the appointment.
