Setting up your Rula provider portal account

This guide walks you through creating your Rula provider portal account for the first time. You’ll learn how to open your welcome email, create your password, log in, and verify your identity.

Who should use this guide

  • Providers who have completed onboarding and have received a welcome email to set up their account
  • Providers returning after a reset performed by Rula Support (you’ll create a new password and set up authentication again)
  • If you are still onboarding, you will not have credentials yet—learn about completing onboarding

What you’ll need

  • A computer or laptop (the portal does not work on phones or tablets)

  • Access to the email address you used during onboarding at Rula

  • Your 10-digit NPI

Step 1: Go to the Provider Portal sign-in page

  • Enter the same email you used during onboarding.
    • If the email matches what's on file, you'll be prompted to check your inbox.
  • The welcome email may take a few minutes to arrive. Check your spam or promotions folder if needed.

  • Creating your provider profile (bio, headshot, preferences)

  • Completing Rula 101 onboarding courses

To complete any remaining tasks in your checklist, click the Get Started button next to the section that needs completion. In this example, we'll walk through completing the Create Provider Profile section.

  2. Next you'll click Get started to complete the following:
    1. Share client preferences and expertise
    2. Share your background
    3. Add a headshot
