Objectives of Rula's Provider Community

Rula’s Provider Community exists for active Rula providers to connect, support, and engage with other members of the provider community. While this platform is a resource for Rula’s provider community, Rula employees have access and moderate discussions to clarify and enforce Rula policies.

Rula’s Provider Community is not intended to serve as a Rula-monitored support channel. All Support-related inquiries should be directed to support@rula.com. Rula’s Provider Community is intended for:

  • Community building
  • Clinician networking
  • Professional learning & development
  • Peer support
  • Peer to peer case consultations that do not include the sharing of Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • Participating in industry-relevant discussions
  • Sharing industry best practices and resources
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive workspace for all Rula providers

Terms of use

The existing Rula Code of Conduct and Licensed Provider Independent Contractor And Arbitration Agreement applies to all interactions on Rula’s Provider Community, including but not limited to these provisions:

  • It is expected that all employees and contractors providing clinical and/or administrative services at the Group will maintain the highest level of professionalism, accountability, and ethical behavior.
  • All employees and contractors are expected to behave in a manner consistent with the Group's Mission and Values statements.
  • It is expected that all employees and contractors will treat patients, community partners, and peers courteously and respectfully at all times.

The following are not permitted on Rula's Provider Community:

  • Disclosing PHI (-- Please be aware that this community is not HIPAA compliant. To protect patient privacy and confidentiality, do not share PHI, including personal details, diagnoses, or other health-related information that can be used to identify a patient.
  • Soliciting other providers to move Rula patients to a competitor or private practice (this is not permitted under the Licensed Provider Independent Contractor And Arbitration Agreement)
  • Soliciting other providers to leave Rula for a competitor
  • Sharing advice related to legal issues in practice
  • Making disparaging statements about Rula, Rula employees, other clinicians, or Rula patients
  • Expressing frustration in a manner that is unprofessional or counterproductive to resolving issues (ie: name-calling, profanity)

Violation of terms

Rula reserves the right to remove content and/or uninvite users from Rula’s Provider Community for any reason. Violation of the Code of Conduct and/or Independent Contractor Agreement as observed in Rula’s Provider Community may also be grounds for suspension and/or dismissal from the Rula provider network.

For violations that are less severe, Clinicians will be served a written warning for a first and second offense. A third offense will result in permanent suspension from Rula’s Provider Community.

If a violation is particularly severe, suspension from Rula’s Provider Community will be immediate, and Rula’s Clinical Quality team will review whether the provider can continue providing care within the Provider Network.

Leaving the Provider Network

If a Provider leaves Rula’s Network, and is no longer an active provider, their access to the Community platform will be removed, and their account deactivated. A Provider who rejoins the Network will need to create a new account to join the Community platform.
